Meet the owner

Karen Nuwer has been teaching Pilates for over a decade at multiple venues throughout the Greater Buffalo Area and has worked in the field of movement for the majority of her life. Karen is a former professional Dancer, as well as a Director and Choreographer, who inherently understands the human body and how it moves from the inside outward. She uses the primary Pilates principles of concentration, centering, control, precision, breathing and flowing movement while working with reformers, springboards, pilates chairs and other options to create workouts structured to each client's individual needs. Whether you are looking for a program to maintain strength, or to improve on your physical weaknesses, resistance springs are used to create versatility and are adjusted to suit your own abilities. Nuwer You Pilates has multiple programs and affiliations with local groups such as WNY Heroes and Alzheimers Association. Pilates, stretching, and breathing can truly help those facing challenges in life, no matter what form they come in.
